Becky Lynch runs down his heels after returning at WrestleMania 41. She brings Bailey out and rides the card with female intercontinental champion Laila Valkyria. Lynch then turns on Valkyria and tries to take the title from her with a backlash, but is unable to secure the money. The night after “WWE RAW,” Lynch unleashed the audience that she felt like she had treated her before she took a break. “Bust Open After Dark” host Tommy Dreamer called the way Lynch promoted “interesting” but he said he loves it. While he is working on what he’s been told about her, he says it’s everything people want from Lynch to not like her.
“Becky says, ‘Hey, lady. I’m coming after you who says you and I are almost holding people down, you’re really falling into it now,” he said. “It was very, very interesting and a very cool way to start over it to it without actually saying it or calling people or biting into the crowd. So it was funny and unique and Becky was the reason she was a ‘man’.
Dreamer compared Lynch promotions to others like Rick Rude and Eddie Guerrero. He wondered why we boo them because people like Lynch have everything you want, but said it was because of what she’s doing in the ring and a promotion that consistently gets heat.
“It’s like a great job for a double because when you’re on the heat there, you’re feeling it and they keep booing you, that’s the beauty of this business,” he said.
