AEW CEO Tony Khan made the changes on the spot in tonight’s episode of Dynamite in Chicago on May 14th, after seeing negative fan feedback.
One of the matches on tonight’s show was a match for Skye Blue, AZM, Mina Shirakawa and Champion Toni Storm’s AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator.
Shirakawa was the first to play this match since she officially signed an AEW contract.
She created the entrance with brand new theme music.
Shirakawa actually won the match. As she was celebrating, it was her old thematic music that she played in place of the new one she used at her entrance.
On social media, Khan saw negative feedback at her entrance and confirmed that she had decided to turn her music back together.
When one fan tweets, you need “Mina’s old theme backboss im tryna vibe😔. Khan replied.

Another fan asked: “Did you check Twitter and see everyone getting tattered on that Mina theme and decide to change it on the spot?”

Thanks to her victory, Shirakawa will challenge Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championships on May 25th with Double or Nothing.
