WWE holds John Cena vs. CM Punk match

CM Punk has recently shown their intention to challenge John Cena’s uncontroversial WWE Championship, but their highly anticipated title match is reportedly not an immediate plan for the Bank Premium Live event, which will take place on June 7th. According to Pwinsider.com, WWE’s creative source points to Cena’s different directions at the Los Angeles show.

Fans have been speculating on Cena vs. Punk Blockbuster following Punk’s “for now…” social media post following Cena’s WrestleMania 41 victory, but Pwinsider says there is currently no bank money planned for this particular championship match. However, the desire within WWE for rivals to clash titles remains strong.

One source reportedly indicated that the company aims to schedule “late the year” when the timing is correct. Pwinsider, which appears to be on hold in June, also reported on an alternative creative debate for the 17-time champions at Money In The Bank.

There is a belief that Travis Scott, who supported Cena in WrestleMania 41’s victory over Cody Rhodes, will be available and could be involved in PLE’s Cena segment.
