Wednesday’s special beach break edition of “AEW Dynamite” brought the show’s best viewers since last September. Based on a report by Wrestlenomics, the latest “dynamite” averaged 682,000 viewers, with a P18-49 rating of 0.17. It would put it as the third-highest viewed night show behind the NBA and NHL playoff games.

Breaking things down into quarter-hour ratings, the show began with its strongest segment. The first 15 minutes feature tag match pitting, with Osprey and “Hangman” Adam Page pulling out 732,000 viewers against the Don Charis family with a key demo rating of 0.18.

Things fell down after that, but it wasn’t a big deal. The show’s low point took place during a match in the main event steel cage and fell to an audience of 651,000 before rising again during the 13th minute overrun. Furthermore, the 18-49 demographic was fairly consistent throughout the episode, variing between 216,000 and 243,000.

The highlight of the Jon Moxley-Samoa Joe Cage Match was a top performance on YouTube, and then MJF was eventually accepted by all three members of The Hurt Syndicate. The report also tracked Cagematch ratings, which allow fans to rate the quality of matches on the show, rating this week’s match as 5% lower than last week’s episode’s match.

“Dynamite” has been steadily rising in Cable viewers last month, with Wednesday’s episode increasing by 8% in total viewers compared to “Dynamite” on May 7th. Comparing the current ratings of “dynamite” with the situation from the previous year, the photos are less positive, but there have been a lot of changes since. That is, the show is currently being broadcast simultaneously on HBO Max.
