Dirty Dom plans to solidify his legacy with AAA, the impact of his father’s Mexican wrestling

WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominique Mysterio revealed in a recent interview with Miami Herald’s Jim Bar Salon that he plans to expand his legacy to Mexico after WWE acquired Triple A.

“It was very surprising because I didn’t think it was possible,” Mysterio said of the acquisition.

“They actually bought AAA. It’s very big, meaning that if not the largest company in Mexico, it’s not just the Mysterio name, but also the most history of many other pedigrees and Lucador.”

The second generation superstar sees this as an opportunity to realize his lifelong dream.

“Before I started wrestling or training, fighting Triple A and Mexico has always been my dream,” confessed Mysterio. “I always wanted to continue with Mysterio’s legacy and do better than he did in every way, in shape, form.”

With his trademark Heal Bravado, Mysterio did not refrain from his famous father.

“I’m in WWE now and I’m already better than Rey Mysterio,” he insisted boldly. “So I want to go to Triple A and solidify my legacy there and make it better than what he’s already done.”

Mysterio emphasized his intention to cover up his father’s legendary status.

“I remember the name that came out of Triple A, Mexico, WWE… When I hear the word Mysterio, I think Dominic Mysterio.”
