The former AEW star is working on breaking out of the company amid rumors about a possible return to WWE.
With Saraya’s announcement of AEW’s departure on March 26th, there was a lot of speculation about what the former WWE Diva champion would like to go next.
Talking about women’s wrestling, Saraya noted that Tony Khan was extremely supportive during the departure process.
Noting that the door remains open for potential AEW returns in the future, Saraya said:
“I’m fine, it was time for me to bow. Tony was amazing with that. It was mutual. That’s great. He did it.
“He was very supportive about my future efforts, he encouraged me and the doors remained open.
“Yeah, that was a lot of my vacation brainstorming that I liked.
Saraya recently confirmed that she had previously turned down a romance storyline with another AEW star.
