A major change was announced outside the company in the current WWE Star Championship match, bringing a notable name out of the match.

With the NWA holding a Crockett Cup event on Saturday (May 17), WWE’s Natalia is preparing to take on Kensie Page’s NWA Women’s World Championship.

It has recently been announced that Gale Kim will be the special guest umpire for the match, and Gale Kim has now confirmed that he will not be able to appear on this weekend’s show due to illness.

The former WWE star shared the following statement on social media:

“It’s a shame that we have to announce that we won’t be able to reach Philadelphia’s today’s Crockett Cup, and we hate disappointing fans.

“We promised NWA fans and Billy to make up for that and hope to return to another event, and we are very disappointed as we were looking forward to umpire for today’s women’s championship title.

“I wish everyone in Philadelphia good luck today, especially the women I know will defeat. 2300 Arena tonight!

The NWA shared Kim’s statement. The promotion has not announced a replacement judge at the time of writing.

Natalya has reinvented herself using her recent independent running, and the WWE star has significantly beaten Yamasita in Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII at WrestleMania 41 weeks.

Natalia recently invited another former WWE star to train with her, who has expressed interest in the potential WWE returns.
