Chris Jericho pulls the curtain back to a wild behind-the-scenes moment involving Vince McMahon and Ozzy Osbourne in an episode of WWE Raw in 2009.
It will be displayed in The story is Jericho and Inside the ropeJericho shared the story of how Vince tried to persuade Ozzy to call him. “One Car” Behind the scenes segment.
“So he put me in a behind-the-scenes vignette with Ozzy.” Jericho remembered. “And the idea was that I would scream at Ozzy and humiliate him. And he said, ‘You’re just a stupid wanker.’ And Vince explains this to Ozzy. He said, “It’s like a one-ker can’t jack it on TV.”
Jericho went on to explain that Ozzy was totally against the use of the term, even pointing out the global scope of WWE programming. “When Ozzy Osbourne is the voice of why you can’t say what you can do on TV, you know that things are bad.” Jericho said.
Segment aired on November 2, 2009 wwe rawI ended up playing differently from the ones that were originally pitched. Instead of Ozzy calling Jericho a one-ker, this segment shuns controversial terms entirely as he saw Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne dealing with Jericho in more general comedies.
Jericho’s story shows how happy Vince McMahon wanted him to laugh, even if he pushed the boundaries that even Ozzy Osbourne shook his head.
