When it comes to on-screen WWE programming, most things are kept professional at all times. It’s rare to see a match collapse due to differences of opinion. It is also rare to see performers steal their freedom and enter business on their own. However, the rare occasions when problems penetrate through cracks are usually very noteworthy. That was certainly the case Charlotte Flare and Near Jacksduring the match, it seemed like they had fallen into a real filming battle. Some fans remember this happened vividly because it was so strange to witness, but the whole situation was confused so they may not know exactly why this situation happened or why it happened.

On August 30, 2021, Charlotte Flair, who was reigning as a live female champion at the time, went to the toe with Niajax, who was not a regular part of the main event scene, and competed in the tag team division alongside Shayna Baszler. On paper it felt like a filler match that was tickled next week, hoping that Charlotte Flair would win the match as a champion.
Few fans would have expected this match to be the most talked about this week’s moment, but it did so as their match ended in a total mess. Both Flair and Jax are in the eyes of controversy, and Jax is often criticized for her tough work, accused of injuring and injuring her enemies, giving her accusations and bleeding when she punched Becky Lynch in her face. In Flair’s case, she fell into a scandal a few months after this event as she and Becky Lynch fell out of the script during the title Exchange segment.

At one point, Flair didn’t sell the move, but was kicked out for just one. Things seemed to continue to be built throughout the match, but it got worse when Flair slapped Jax twice in the face, causing Jax to stick out into her own face. They were hooked on what seemed like a legitimate struggle, pushing in and pulling hair. Flair tried to return to the match with a chop. Jax could hear and hear as Flair kept pushing it in.
The match was then back on track as possible as Jacks hit a Powerbomb and won a clean victory over the champion. It was speculated that Jax had changed plans to win, but she was surprisingly scheduled winner and not because Flair set up a rematch for the title that he would win. Overall, the match was terrible, and cagematch.net ratings showed that fans hated it.

Thankfully, they were unable to fall into the same misunderstanding in the following week’s rematch. It was definitely a strange situation and seemed to have more than merely a misunderstanding, but fans would never know what (even if there was a reason) actually caused this filming fight in the ring, as neither Jax nor Flair stated there were legitimate issues.
