The new WWE star made his in-ring debut on tonight’s May 16 episode of SmackDown On USA Network, winning.
Kicking off tonight’s show heading into the ring was Solosicore of US champion Jacob Fatu and J.C. Mateo, formerly known as Jeff Cobb.
As Sicora and Fatu claim, La Knight sneaks up behind them and temporarily attacks Mateo at ringside before fleeing.
Mateo first appeared in the WWE Backlash last weekend, helping Cicor support Fatu in maintaining the US championship against the Knights, but Fatu was not really grateful for his help.
After tonight’s Smackdown, Solosicore won money in the bank qualifying three-way against Jimmy Uso and Ray Phoenix, with the help of Fatu and Mateo.
After the match, the Knight reappeared, with SmackDown general manager Nick Ardis on stage and an improvisation “now” match in the form of Knight vs Mateo on Mateo’s debut.
It was Mateo who recorded a victory in his debut against the Knight.
