The duo has a long history together, but there are also plenty of storyline threads of past grievances that you can pull to bring together the story.
As Rhodes is one of Orton’s legacy stable protégés, he has undergone a complete career transformation and it’s fascinating to see some of the emotional elements unfolding in between.
Orton has commented in the past that if he has options, he will choose Cody for his final match, so hopefully the timeline and storyline can be aligned in the future to allow that.
