Scott Damore’s massive donation pushes sub funeral fundraiser past $47,000

The wrestling community has brought together sub families a lot as GoFundMe, set to cover the funeral costs of late ECW legends, has already been blown past the original $25,000 goal. As of Saturday morning, May 17, 2025, the campaign had raised 262 donations from $47,759. This almost doubles the target.

The biggest contribution came from Scott D’Amore, former TNA executive and current owner of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling. D’Amore has made a donation $15,932, A gesture that attracted attention from both fans and wrestlers. Other important donations include:

  • Chris Jericho – $5,000
  • Ryan Basan – $2,000
  • Joseph Window – $1,600
