Tommy Dreamer hopes this AEW baby face will lean towards his rage

He may be worried. He may be a millennial. And while he may be a cowboy, don’t be fooled by the image. As time approaches, “Hangman” Adam Page is ready to take advantage of his dark side to finish his job on Saturday, July 12th, becoming the next contender for John Moxley’s AEW World Championship in Texas. But to get there he has to go through “The Aerial Assassin.” The two finalists at this year’s Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament have a lot to come out of Glendale, Arizona. As for the page, he may be one step closer to recaptureing the Pinnacle Belt for the second time in his AEW career. ECW legend and hardcore hall of fame Tommy Dreamer wants Page to revisit his indifferent side. Ask Swerve Strickland.

“I think the crazy version we got on the ‘Hangman’ page really, really suited him. I wish he could lean a little more during his match. “We all know that he is a great worker… I feel that he is a very highly regarded wrestler and that he shows many different aspects of himself.”

It’s been nearly four years since Page became the company’s top champion. Page won the AEW World Championship in Full Gear in 2021. He held six successful title defenses during his 197-day reign against stars like future world champions Brian Danielson (twice), Lance Archer, Adam Cole (twice), and Dante Martin before being approved by CM Punk in 2022.
