Known for her behind the scenes and on-screen executive roles, Stephanie McMahon has experience in the ring and is one of the rulers as the WWE women’s champions. More recently, McMahon made her WrestleMania debut in 2018 along with her husband, WWE Hall of Fame Paul “Triple H” Levesque. In an episode of “What’s Your Story,” McMahon reminisced about his training experience as a lead-up to a premium live event.
“My WrestleMania moment was when I teamed up with Paul against Ronda. [Rousey] And cart [Angle]. McMahon said. When I say that it’s the most difficult thing I’ve ever trained in my life, I trained about three days a week for several months, I was beaten and hurt. I was doing everything I could. ”
According to McMahon, her training was extremely intense and was tuned to a virtual company WWE meeting while working out on the treadmill. She also showed her wounded elbows on ice.
“Again, I had to work that hard because I’m not a professional athlete,” McMahon said. “After the match [Triple H] Just standing there talking to me, he said, “Is there anything I can’t do?” It was very sweet to tell me. All I wanted was to be proud of him in that match. ”
Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey won the tag match between McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania 34 after McMahon tapped out to the armbar. Rousey and Angle then celebrated, with WWE medical team checking out at McMahon.
