Former TNA broadcaster Josh Matthews confirms the role of the new AEW

Following his exit from TNA Wrestling in February, the report shows that Josh Matthews is on board all elite wrestling and is working to streamline communication between the production crew and the company’s producers, particularly on the production truck. While appearing in the video on former WWE star Maven Huffman’s YouTube channel, Matthews confirmed his new role.

“Now, [I’m] said Matthews, who shadows Matthews. [AEW] They clash and play a ring of honor in the subsequent matches. It’s going to be a busy night. ”

Mike Monthly, former vice president of WWE’s Global Television Productions, originally joined AEW in the second half of 2022 as a senior vice president and co-producer. Last year, Mansuri was promoted to Head of EVP and Global Productions.

In Matthews’s case, he arrived at AEW as a former commentator in both WWE and TNA. At TNA, Matthews also worked as a senior producer and senior director of digital media. Matthews was one of many prominent names behind the scenes in the March 26th edition of “AEW Dynamite,” which emanates from St. Paul, Minnesota. Other visitors included former WWE and WCW Star Perry Saturn and former “WWE NXT” wrestler Von Wagner. Matthews’ wife Madison Lane currently works as a company coach and in-ring performer.

Matthews’ departure from TNA will be part of a recent series of similar strings, along with former heads of talent relations that were let go in early 2025, including Christie Hem, executive producer Ariel Schener and former talent head Gail Kim.
