Fans of the NWA Crockett Cup on May 17 remained surprised when WWE’s Natalya Neidhart hit the crowd and slapped Heckler across the face. The shocking footage quickly circulated online, sparking debate as to whether the incident was real or part of the show.

Natalia’s NWA debut saw her challenge Kenzie Page at the NWA Women’s Championship and entered the ring with her Anger towards the machine Theme, the same music she used Blood Sports. Despite bringing WWE star power to the match, Natalia was unable to win the title, and Page held and claimed her dominance in the NWA women’s division.
Gail Kim was originally set to be a special guest umpire for a title match, but the drama didn’t end there as he had to pull out due to illness. A few hours before the event, Kim went to Twitter to apologise and wrote, “It’s a shame that we have to announce that we won’t be able to reach Philadelphia’s today’s Crockett Cup, and we hate disappointing fans.
