The Queen of the Ring Biopic’s official Twitter account has returned after fans accused WWE of bashing WWE in a controversial series of tweets.

In response to fans who warned they could take shots in WWE, the accounts have doubled and claimed they were simply telling the truth rather than beating WWE.

“We’re not bashing WWE. The director is a lifelong fan.” The account tweeted. “There are a lot to unpack here, but I’m starting now.” They added that they are linking to a YouTube clip entitled “Jim Cornette is talking about Ash Avildsen and WWE suddenly pulling talent from Rind of the Ring.”

In the clip, Avildsen claims that WWE first offered to have Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan appear in the film, but suddenly pulled them a few days before filming. According to Avildsen, WWE’s film division was keen on the project, but was later said that Vince McMahon pulled the plug because of his dissatisfaction over losing the talent that lost the TV episode of the film role.

“I asked what happened and all I was told was ‘It came from the top’.” Abilden said. “It was all so elusive and weird.”

Meanwhile, the Queen of the Ring The Twitter account has been involved with fans and claims she’s not trying to start the drama, but shares what happened.

The sluggish response of the Queen of the Ring Twitter account to fans only intensified the debate over WWE’s film sabotage. With the recent release of the film, tensions between film production and WWE could continue to escalate.
