Differences in the height of performers WWE It has a dramatic range. Giants like Andre the Giant, Big Show and Kane have been successful as successful stories of tall players. WWE witnessed shorter wrestlers making their marks like Brian Danielson, Alexa Bliss and Ray Mysterio. Short wrestlers have tougher battles, but that doesn’t mean they won’t overcome the struggle.
WWE has several wrestlers on the roster and it’s not clear that they’ll be hired based on their height. That usually means they are thriving in various important areas of the business. WWE’s next male wrestler is currently the shortest on the roster.

JC Mateo
JC Mateo height: 5’10”
WWE debut | The height charged | Weights charged |
---|---|---|
2017 | 5’10” (178cm) | 264 lbs |
JC Mateo made his debut at the 2025 backlash event. This was announced as a powerhouse wrestler in line with the dangers of other pedigree members. Mateo may have a huge frame, however, but he puts him in a smaller category on the WWE roster at 5’10”.
In the way he has wrestled throughout his career, Mateo’s explosiveness and strength made him feel like a greater presence than his height suggests. Many believed his height was a factor that took a lot of time to reach WWE, but in 2025 they saw WWE finally get a chance.

Alex Sherry
Alex Shelley Height: 5’10”
WWE debut | The height charged | Weights charged |
---|---|---|
2005 | 5’10” (178cm) | 215 lbs |
Throughout his wrestling career, Alex Shelley has always been considered an underdog. This is part of his being on the short side of the wrestler. 5’10” isn’t that small in other promotions, but coming to WWE made him feel short – much of his height suffers when joining the company.
Shelley has had many successes throughout his career and continues to do so at WWE, becoming half of the WWE Tag Team Champion. He had a WWE cameo for many years, but competed with the 2005 Sunday night heat and the 2020 NXT, but WWE never committed to signing him until 2024.

Chris Savin
Chris Sabin Height: 5’10”
WWE debut | The height charged | Weights charged |
---|---|---|
2024 | 5’10” (178cm) | 205 lbs |
Like Alex Shelley, his Motor City Machine Gun tag team partner, Chris Sabin was underdog due to his height – also standing at 5’10” but he was able to achieve many successes as both a single star and a TNA team.
Perhaps due to his short size, Sabin arrived at WWE in 2024 and joined Shelley to win the title gold for the WWE tag team at the backend of his wrestling career.

Pete Dunn
Pete Dan height: 5’10”
WWE debut | The height charged | Weights charged |
---|---|---|
2017 | 5’10” (178cm) | 205 lbs |
Despite being presented as a badass and nonsense character on NXT, Pete Dan’s appeal to the main roster was renamed “Butch” and played the role of “a little man with seduction problems.” He is said to be a small but aggressive dog, with much emphasis placed on the fact that he is smaller than the people around him.
Ever since Triple H returned Pete Dan’s name and persona to him, he has been carrying himself as a person who doesn’t feel as small as it is under Butch Gimmick. Dunne bookings are not yet at the right level and you have to say to wander WWE undercards.

Otis
Otis height: 5’10”
WWE debut | The height charged | Weights charged |
---|---|---|
2016 | 5’10” (178cm) | 330 lbs |
Throughout his WWE career, Otis has always been seen as one of WWE’s bigger competitors with incredible strength and adorable persona.
But despite his heavy and big frame, he is actually one of WWE’s short wrestlers, standing under 6 feet at 5’10”. With his size and infectious energy, he’s more than making up for it. Otis earned more consistent TV time last year, rebutting with Chad Gable, sharing the ring with Gunther, and presenting talented talent.

angel
Angel Height: 5’9″
WWE debut | The height charged | Weights charged |
---|---|---|
2019 | 5’9″ (175cm) | 205 lbs |
Angel (formerly Angel Garza) was someone who looked like a star in his NXT era, oozing out his charisma and overcomes like a wildfire. Unfortunately, his run on the main roster was a complete failure and nothing surpassed the point of being a background character.
A big part of this could be the fact that he is 5’9″ and is well below the heights of many of the top stars in WWE. His NXT proved he has the charisma that makes it in business.

Gnomegive
Gnomgive height: 5’9″
WWE debut | The height charged | Weights charged |
---|---|---|
2016 | 5’9″ (175cm) | 178 lbs |
Noam Dar has been in WWE for quite some time, but for a while he’s been limited to NXT and NXT UK mainly. DAR is a very strong talent for the ring, but someone who might be able to do very well in the size of achieving anything on a large scale in WWE. In any case, he has proven to be a highly trusted member of the developmental brand, and his achievements with the brand include the Heritage Cup.
NOAM DAR has been taking action with NXT for nearly a year, raising doubts about his future at the company, especially as Rush legend and Jakara Jackson’s stable have won a lot of TV on both the NXT and the main roster.

Ilja Dragunov
Ilja Dragunov’s Height: 5’9″
WWE debut | The height charged | Weights charged |
---|---|---|
2019 | 5’9″ (175cm) | 210 lbs |
With how much power Ilja Dragunov places behind the strike, the speed at which he strikes his enemy, and the way he overcomes the enormous amount of pain, he makes himself a trusted enemy against everyone. Dragnov is only 5’9″ but when he blows them off (for example, in a classic with Gunther), he becomes alike. Dragnov made his debut on the main roster in 2024. For months, he will definitely become a big player when he returns to the WWE ring.

Andredo
Andredo Height: 5’9″
WWE debut | The height charged | Weights charged |
---|---|---|
2016 | 5’9″ (175cm) | 210 lbs |
Since his last run in WWE, Andrade has worked hard to increase his build in a ton of ways, gaining more weight than most men. For this reason, it is difficult to believe Andrade is in a short position of 5’9″ and he is now one of WWE’s short names. speed Department. This is an X-only show with less than 3 minutes of matches. Andredo works well in that style, but I have to say.
Andrade challenges the Midcard Division with Smackdown and has an impressive feud with Carmelo Hayes, but has yet to break into the star that many have been expecting for years.

Wesley
Wes Lee Height: 5’9”
WWE debut | The height charged | Weights charged |
---|---|---|
2020 | 5’9″ (175cm) | 190 lbs |
Through a run of singles at NXT, Wesley became one of the most exciting, charismatic and athletic wrestlers on the entire roster. Lee is listed as 5’9″ and he is one of the shortest in all of the NXT as well as WWE. Lee certainly has a style to make up for it.
After a long-term injury prevented him from action, Lee’s momentum will likely cross the NXT and eventually reach the main roster. Lee was a well-known name for the development brand when WWE entered 2025 and remained at NXT for quite some time.
