The yet-known new nickname for the WWE Star may have been revealed thanks to recent trademark application filings.

In an application filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office on May 18, 2025, WWE is attempting to secure the term “King of the L’A Cador.”

Applications for terms submitted under US serial number 99190637 cover the following categories of products and services:

Entertainment services, i.e. wrestling exhibitions and performances by professional wrestlers and entertainers, were rendered live through broadcast media such as television and radio, and via internet or commercial online services.

Provide wrestling news and information through the global computer network. Provide information in the fields of sports and entertainment through online community portals. Provides websites in the field of sports entertainment information.

We hold sporting events in the field of fan club services, i.e. wrestling fan club members. We will hold social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for members of the Wrestling Fan Club.

Provides online newsletters in the field of sports entertainment. Online journals, namely blogs, sports entertainment

At the time of writing, the star, which could be “The King of Lukador,” has not yet been revealed, if it appears.

The new application will be nearly a week after WWE submitted an application for the term “King of the Lucas.”

Recently, WWE also submitted a trademark application to the USPTO with the name “JC Mateo.”

JC Mateo is Jeff Cobb’s new WWE ring name, as revealed in the May 16 episode of SmackDown.
