Last month, WWE acquired Mexican wrestling company AAA and made big news on June 15th while preparing for Big Show Triple Mania Legia. Reports say Hardy is on the show, but that’s not happening anymore.
While talking about the extreme life of the Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy explained that he and Jeff Hardy will not appear in Triple Mania Legia despite suggesting previous reports.
Hardy reveals that they were asked to participate, but they have already been booked for those weekends and are unable to make it. They had to turn down this opportunity, but he did not rule out the future look. Hardy also expressed interest in competing for the AAA tag team title and said he wanted to meet him, saying that Jeff would like to win them one day.
“We know we were asked about it, and um, we’ve already booked for those weekends. So we were asked about doing them, but um, we couldn’t reveal. But perhaps we were asked about it.
This comes after Dave Meltzer was pointed out in the Wrestling Observer newsletter. “Joe Hendry and Hardy will be part of TNA’s representative Triple Mania Regia.” Obviously Tatt isn’t happening now, but fans are hoping for a future appearance from Hardy.
It has already been confirmed that Angel Garza and Hambert Carrillo will be appearing at Triple Mania Regia on June 15th, and on top of that, Joe Hendry, Moose and Nemes will represent TNA wrestling at the event. Nevertheless, fans want it to happen, so they will have to wait for when Hardys will compete in future AAA events.
