WWE Hall of Fame Sean Michaels believes the future of tag team wrestling is already here.
The most famous match for “Mr. Wrestlemania’s” is a singles match, but Heartbreak Kid is not used to tagging team wrestling. As a member of the Rocker, as an attitude and two guys, D Gen X, Michaels knows he’s talking here.
During his recent appearance on Armon Sadler’s Stay Busy, Michaels offered passionate praise to the newcomers in Nathan Frazer and Axiom duo Smackdown. According to NXT bosses, Fraxiom could be the best tag team in business today.
“I agree with people who say that,” Michaels said. “Now they’re clicking on all the cylinders. They promised to be a team, and they took it to another level. People consider them the best tag team in the industry.
Having worked closely with the duo since the time of NXT UK, Michaels reflected on his journey from outstanding singles competitors to cohesive and dynamic units. He highlighted their youth, versatility and commitment to division as key factors for their success.
Fraxiom recently debuted on SmackDown and remains undefeated on the main roster. Their Hot Streaks won a shot in the title match set for the May 23 episode of SmackDown with the WWE Tag Team title currently held by Street Profits.
