AEW Collision Viewership & Ratings Report

2 Min Read

All this year, “AEW Collision” has been working well following sporting events and playoff games, but when it returns to normal timeslots at 8pm on Saturday, the ratings often return to normal. Although AEW’s secondary program has proven to post consistent numbers for the past two months, the show has been struggling ongoing beyond the 400,000 viewer mark.

According to Wrestlenomics, “Clash” averaged 398,000 viewers and recorded a 0.08 in the key 18-49 demographic. Comparing both categories to the previous week, total audiences increased slightly, with the 18-49 demo dropping by 11%. Wrestlenomics also noted that Saturday’s episode ended abruptly due to technical issues in the broadcast, with viewers totals only reflected 87 minutes that aired live. Additionally, “Collision” faced a stiff NHL and NBA playoff competition on Saturday, but ranked ninth in the evening in the Cable Originals of the 18-49 demo.

“Clash” averages the average audience total compared to this time last year, but the key demographic figures continue to be disappointed. Since May 2024, “collisions” have fallen 33% in 18-49 demonstrations, an average of 0.08 for 2025. This is because AEW’s Saturday program is currently streaming on HBO MAX, which hosts younger audiences compared to cable audiences.

Following the technical errors of “clashes,” AEW President Tony Kahn created an uninterrupted version of the program that can be viewed at MAX as of May 19th. The report also suggested that the show’s triller feed was also suspended, and many international fans encountered similar broadcast issues.

The pre-tape episode of last Saturday’s “Clash” featured a homage to late NFL player and wrestler Steve “Mango” McMichael, who paid tribute to WWE Hall of Famer’s Rick Flair.
