As he is ready to shepherd “NXT” to battlefield PLE this weekend, WWE Hall of Fame Sean Michaels is in the middle of another eventful year with the leader of the “NXT” brand. That makes things easier for Michaels when it comes to bookings, but when someone asks someone who the MVP for “NXT” is, it gets a little harder.
Still, HBK first became a soldier and gave his best answer when asked that he was Brad Gilmore’s Nxts in “The Reality of Wrestling.” And at least when he came to the women’s department, Michaels didn’t have to think about it for too long.
“I think in the last few months we have to be our NXT women’s champion, Stephanie Verker on the women’s side,” Michaels said. “She’s just swept the whole world again. So, she’s already an international name, but I think she’s got a surge in ‘NXT’ programming, the whole world, the whole world, and her popularity. ”
Michaels didn’t have a clear cut answer to the “NXT” men’s division, but he managed to nail it to at least two potential candidates.
“I think it’s being thrown at our guys,” Michaels said. “I think they’ll probably argue about that, but I think Trick Williams and Oba Femi are two guys… Again, Trick has unlimited charisma, but Oba has a mysterious and aura about him too.
