The May 20 episode of WWE NXT brought the final touches to the battleground this Sunday. It also included a special segment with two top stars for different companies.
Joe Hendry will be putting his TNA World title on the line with Trick Williams at Battlegrounds this Sunday. This will be the historic match as WWE TV’s first TNA world title defense. They also exaggerated the match very much.
WWE NXT had two special music segments this week. First, Trick Williams held a rap performance. However, Joe Hendry followed last as the TNA World Champion in another concert with acoustic guitar.
The show closed this week with a Joe Hendry concert. This wasn’t the first time Hendry had a concert on NXT, so fans were very excited to see what songs he had prepared.
Hendry began by Trick Williams shading a bit for his performance early in the evening. He then dedicated his acoustic song to his battlefield opponents. This was a catchy song, like all of Joe Hendry’s music, and the lyrics were cut too.
Joe Hendry threw a Shade to Trick Williams after losing his NXT title very quickly. He also said that Trick was just a champion who produced tears. He then inserted old footage of Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes, with the trick looking very scary, and Joe Hendry in the video.
Joe Hendry continued to sing the trick Williams was Carmelo Hayes’ “b*tch,” so fans loved every moment on the song. Trick Williams came out and then he stood up to attack the TNA World Champion. This was quite a song to close out NXT this week. However, Hendry nailed the trick with his guitar and a standing ovation.
You need to see who will leave the battlefield as the TNA World Champion. They have a lot on the line and anything is possible at this point.
