Karrion Kross was released by WWE in 2021 after a disappointing main roster run and competed in the indies before returning to WWE again. After all, it appears he mostly went to AEW before he finally returned to WWE.
While speaking on the Ariel Helwani show, Karion Cross was asked if he had spoken to Cody Rhodes about joining AEW and when he told them he wasn’t available. He confirmed that he was communicating with Cody Rhodes, but the conversation naturally faded over time.
Karrio Kross felt that while he was still talking to Cody Rhodes, Triple H had to call him and immediately change courses and return to WWE.
“Hmm, yes. Communication had organically dropped with Cody and me at the time. Hunter was calling me in the process of communicating with him when he was there.
Karrion Kross returned to WWE in 2022 and began a feud with Drew McIntyre. It’s been almost three years since he returned, and Cross finally finished with fans on the main roster.
We’ll have to wait to see how Kallion Cross continues to be booked in the coming weeks, but some fans still wonder how successful he’s been, but now it’s just a big “what if.” scenario.
