Ethan Page will have another opportunity at the Ricky Saints’ NXT North American Championship.
I tried out the title at Stand & Deliver in April. However, he continued to try and make the life of his fellow former AEW star miserable, maintaining that energy when he attacked the saint at ringside during this week’s “WWE NXT.” The North American champion sat ringside as three potential challengers. Jevon Evans, Ashante Ter Adonis and Sean Legacy sought curry favor in the photo in the title.
Towards the closure of the match, Page jumped the barricades and attacked the saints from behind, and the pair were split up by security. Evans jumped out to meet a cluster of bodies, and Legacy won the victory in the ring. Page and the Saints continued to fight each other, crying out security to do so.
Late at night, General Manager Ava had gathered them inside her office to try to understand things. After the pair chins over each other, Starks said he would put his title on the line so he could get the page. Ava then booked next week’s title match, declaring it to be the last of the wider show’s interference between them. She didn’t comment on when she would get the title shot, but Ava realized that Legacy’s victory in the Triple threat gave him the claim to title shot down.
