The Roman rule of WWE is reportedly being considered for the adaptation of popular video game films

Wrestlemania 41 is now in the past, and the alliance of Seth Rollins, Bron Blakeker and Paul Heyman took him out one night on “Raw,” but given his preference for taking months off after a few months after “Immortal Showcase,” it was predicted that fans would not see Roman reign for a while. That seems to be the case this year, but instead of going home, the ruler may find himself on the set of the film in his wrestling.

Deadline reports that Reigns plays a leading role in the live-action adaptation of Street Fighter, a popular video game series. Also in discussions about other major roles are Jason Mamore, Andrew Kozy and Noah Centino. At this point, little is known about the film’s plot, but it was produced by legendary photographs in collaboration with Capcom, the developer and publisher of the “Street Fighter” series, and the film will be directed by filmmaker Kitao Sakurai.

The deadline left the mystery for about an hour, unable to provide details about which roles were spoken about. Fightful Select has since reported that Reigns is discussing Akuma’s role. Akuma, a popular anti-hero in the “Street Fighter” series, is known for his distinct redhead. This is in stark contrast to Reigns’ long dark hair.

While negotiations between Reigns and The Studio are well-known, people in the film and gaming industry have stressed that the deal between Reigns and The Studio was not finalized at this time. Reigns previously appeared in the films “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw”, “The Front Missy”, and The Animated Film “Rumble.” He is scheduled to play a role in the upcoming heist film, The Pickup.
