He claims to be a 20-year square circle veteran, but Dominik Mysterio continues to learn and improve weekly while walking his path with WWE. In a recent interview with “Inticados Podcast,” Dominik revealed one of his biggest mentors standing across from WWE’s debut Seth Rollins.
“When I first arrived in WWE, the first person I feuded was Seth Rollins. “So the fact that I was there for my first match with him, he’s leading all these things to me. Still to this day, I’ll approach him and ask certain things. He’ll always answer for me.
Now, Rollins is looking at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, hosted by veteran Jay Uso. Interestingly, Dominic believes Jay and his brother Jimmy Uso will serve as two other guiding guidelines in his wrestling career.
“I started a tag match between Roman and Usos. [in 2021]”He said, ‘It was me, my death. [dad Rey Mysterio]and John Cena. I wasn’t doing business with five guys who are basically legendary of this business. Here I am the same as the white meat babyface, but they were helping me along this whole journey. ”
Regarding his physical training, Dominique pointed to Jay Resal and Lance’s Storm as the biggest impact, the latter often came to help the current Intercontinental champions on scheduled days. Dominic was initially fatal in Florida, but later moved to Canada, where the storm further shaped his in-ring skills.
