With his current AEW World Championship reign for 220 days, John Moxley has long held a tight hold of the AEW roster.
However, all title reigns must end in the end, and someone has to take down the leader of the Death Rider for the title and breathe new life into the main event scene of AEW.

8. Sweeve Strickland
Former AEW world champion Swerve Strickland looked poised to defeat Jon Moxley in the final pay-per-view of the AEW dynasty last month.
But this wasn’t the case. He became the victim of many others by Death Rider and the young Bucks who returned home.
There is no indication that Strickland will give up on regaining this AEW World Championship one day, but there is still a chance he can beat Moxley.
There are plenty of closely guarded storyline pieces left to be put together ahead of AEW’s stadium events.
