Okada officially defends the Continental Championship for the first time in March when he’s done nothing without doing “Speedball” Mike Bailey in March. The match first reported by Fightful Select last week was confirmed in a behind-the-scenes segment where Okada was interviewed by Renee Puckett during “Aew Dynamite.”
Puckett reminded Okada, who has successfully defended the 11th championship since winning the belt from Eddie Kingston in March 2024. Okada said he didn’t use the trademark phrase “b****” to end the interview, but for the first time, and for all, he had trusted him.
It was speculated that Okada and Bailey will face directly after both men were seen but not directly involved in the brawl in “Dynamite” last week. However, their first report noted in their first report that both men could appear in the match.
