AEW’s new signature was confirmed in tonight’s episode of Dynamite.

In a double or note this Sunday, one of several title matches will see Toni Storm defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Minasila Kawa.

Shirakawa appeared on AEW several times last year as part of the Storm and Mariahmay storyline, but Shirakawa was still on contract with Japanese promotional stardom at the time.

However, recently it has been revealed that time with Stardom has ended.

After she returned to AEW last week and played a match in this week’s Dynamite main event, Tony Khan confirmed that Shirakawa actually signed with AEW.

Last week, Shirakawa won the four-way title Eliminator Match by pinning Storm.

In tonight’s main event, she defeated former TBS champion Julia Hart, but Storm watched as part of the commentary team.

After the match, Hart tried to attack Shirakawa, but as Shirakawa turned things around, Hart’s ally Sky Blue came out, turning it into a 2-1 situation.

The Storm then entered the ring. She and Shirakawa took out the Heart and Blue, but their alliance was short-lived, with Shirakawa attacking the Storm at the ringside.

AEW Dynamite was aired with the team on Sunday’s Anarchy at Arena match.
