An update has been released regarding the WWE Returns of the former company champion.
Earlier this month, it was reported that former WWE tag team champion Dougvasham is due to return to the company as a guest coach at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
According to a new update from Pwinsider Elite (via Wrestlingnews.co), the belief within the Performance Center is that Basham will return to WWE as a guest coach at some point next month.
We have not confirmed a solid date when this will occur, but we will provide updates when more information becomes available.
Doug Basham, who currently works at Ohio Valley Wrestling, is probably best known to fans for his stint on the Basham Brothers tag team alongside Danny Basham.
The pair hosted the WWE Tag Team Championship twice, creating an important part of the JBL cabinet faction in his run as a WWE champion alongside Orlando Jordan.
Last week, former WWE women’s champion Jazz returned to work as a guest trainer for PC and took a photo with NXT star Karmen Petrovic.
