Since the founding of AEW in 2019, many talents have been exchanged between promotion and WWE.
Recently, several former AEW champions have made it to WWE, many of which have been happening in the past few months.
From Penta and Rey Fenix to Rusev and Ricky Saints, WWE brought in some former title holders that immediately influenced the company.
Looking at the current roster and anyone else who can make similar moves, there are eight former AEW champions potentially signing with WWE.
8. Chris Jericho
Widely regarded as one of the most important figures in the company’s history, Chris Jericho was a big signature for all elite wrestling at the start of the promotion.
The first AEW World Champion has been an influential centerpiece since the company’s first day and continues to play a prominent role to this day.
According to a recent report, Jericho is currently on AEW’s contract year and may be looking for new opportunities after helping Tony Kahn promoted over the past six years.
Perhaps hoping for a final run in WWE, Jericho has found himself in an all-new landscape with some stars he hasn’t had the chance to face in his career.
