TNA predictions for Siege 2025? | Questions of the day

6 Min Read

Welcome to another The ewrestlingnews question of the day!

There’s a pay-per-view onslaught this weekend, with the first lined up at 2025 TNA, starting with a pre-show show at 7:30pm and check out the live coverage of the results presented through eWrestlingNews when the time came.

My question today is “Who do you think will win the 2025 Siege at TNA match?”

Don’t forget to answer your answer in the comments below.

Regarding my answer…

TNA Knockout World Championship Single Match: Mashas Ramovich (C) vs. Victoria Crawford

It’s interesting to see Alicia Fox working again, but I can’t cloud my instantaneous “hey, neat” mentality into my judgment. Masha Slamovich has not lost his title here. Frankly, I’m amazed that Tessa Blanchard is not the champion right now. I think that’s going to come back to whom she defeated Suramovich. At least not Crawford.

Single Match: Tessab Lanchard (with Robert Stone) vs. Ariana Grace (with Santino Marella)

Speaking of Blanchard, she wins here unless she plans to make Stone look like a fool. He costs her.

Single Match (If Dean wins, he receives a new TNA contract): Eddie Edwards vs. Cody Dean

I don’t always write words when it comes to watching pay-per-views and not affecting TV episodes. From my perspective, I have zero context in this feud. My guess is that if there is a contractual provision, Cody Dean wins. Otherwise, why do you do that?

TNA World Tag Team Championship Tag Team Match: Nemeth Brothers (Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth) (C) vs. Matt Hardy and Leon Slater

Jeff Hardy is not featured on this show as he is not permitted to travel to the country due to past legal issues. With that in mind, Leon Slater has no intention of winning the title for the Hardy Boys, and will not be half of the champions who will leave Jeff to dust alongside Matt.

The Nemeth Brothers hold and if they drop them on Matt and Jeff, it happens in US soil.

TNA Knockout World Tag Team Championship Tag Team Match: Ash by Elegance and Heather Elegance (C) (with Individual Concierge) vs. Spitfire (Daniruna and Jody Threat)

The titles of these tag teams remain in their presence. I’m not always right about this kind of blanket statement, but nine out of 10 at wrestling companies, the belt usually doesn’t go back to the previous champion unless it’s just after they lose. It’s strange that someone or tag team drops the belt, gets a rematch, fails, and tries it over and over again over the course of a few months, and ultimately wins.

Single Match: Mike Santana vs. Agi Francis (with KC Navarro)

They got enough victory for Mike Santana’s column, so if he loses this, he’ll be shocked. My guess is that he is the next real threat to the international championships. By beating AJ Francis, he pushes further towards that goal.

TNA International Championship Single Match: Steve McLin (c) vs. Matt Cardona

Another common rule of thumb I have when it comes to predicting titles is that if someone is a brand new champion, they often don’t drop the title for at least a month. A lot was put into building Steve McClin as the first champion of this title. It feels strange for him to feud with Eric Young and drop it on Matt Cardona. Cardona is there to have a good challenger and a viable opponent, but there are those who lose to Cutler to support his rule.

Tag Team Match: Joe Hendry and Elijah vs Trick Williams and Franky Kazarian

This is difficult. The bigger story is what happens in WWE Battleground. If Hendry and Elijah win this, I think the TNA World Championships will change their hands in the Battlegrounds. On the other hand, if Williams and Cazarian win, I’ll take the bank with the trick, especially if Cazarian gets a pin on Hendry than all the other scenarios.

A more interesting scenario is the trick to win the title, and this tag team doesn’t take that into consideration at all, unless there’s an angle of injury that will help to allow Hendry to lose. Still, it’s stretch because you need to predict that the TNA title will change hands in the WWE NXT event. You should predict that it will be a top championship for everything, not a tag title or something.

My gut teach me the tricks, Kazarian wins this tag team match, and the tricks lose in the battleground.
