Zoey Stark officially heads out for surgery, but she is no longer silent.
After just a moment of down to her match on the May 19 episode wwe rawStark ultimately talked about the injury in a heartfelt tweet posted on May 21, 2025.
“Amazing love and support means more to me than you know!” She wrote. “What hurts more than my knees is knowing I can’t perform for all of you for a while. I love what I do and I’m blessed with doing this.
The emotional message came after show host Joe Laurie dropped a tough update live Wrestlebinge,say: “I just got the word from Chris Featherstone that she got an MRI and was in surgery, and that the story is developing.
Stark was injured with women’s money in a bank qualifying triple threat match between Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane. She was pulled out of the match during a commercial break, and the match was completed without her.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio Stark’s injury, Dave Meltzer, forced WWE to completely rewrite the match. “Thane lost her first match, but this was clearly not a plan.” Meltzer said. “They had no choice. They had to do what they had to do.”
With the confirmed surgery, we don’t know how long Stark will be out, but her message makes one thing clear. She hasn’t given up.
