Former TNA X-Division and Tag Team Champion Ace Austin officially parted ways with TNA Wrestling after the expiration of his contract.
TNA was engaged in negotiations with Austin regarding the new deal, but the parties were unable to reach an agreement in the end. His final appearance at the company is tonight’s TNA Impact! It will be aired in an episode of
Former TNA executive Scott D’Amore admitted to his departure in his latest column, saying the split was mutually friendly. He wrote,
“Nothing has been said publicly, but Ace Austin’s contract with TNA has become a term. Ace has decided to leave. He was there because he barely came out from his teens. He’s ready to step up. He’s signed him. He’s ready for the next chapter.
The 28-year-old Austin joined TNA in 2019 and quickly marked a dynamic performer in both singles and tag team competitions, teaming up with Chris Beye in particular.
