Paul Wight from AEW’s original has confirmed that fans’ speculation about his status will remain as signed and content.
Wight, who joined AEW in 2021, has played a variety of roles, including color commentator for Aew Dark. His less frequent television appearances have made some doubt about his current status.
In a recent interview with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestlebinge of Wight Tatated, “I’m still with AEW. I’m still very happy with AEW and I’m very happy with Tony Kahn and what he’s doing.” He admitted to online critics, but realized his gratitude for the AEW environment.
“I’m grateful for the way Tony and the way he handles his talents, and the kind of freedom that Tony gives talent to discover himself and find himself,” Wight explained.
“It’s not AEW’s cookie cutter process. They say, ‘This is the entrance to your ring. This is how you pose. This is what you wear.’ AEW is very grassroots, for me, it’s in the game stage. ”
