There was a new star that arrived at WWE Smackdown over the past year, bringing some changes to the brand’s focus and spotlight.
Until the recent arrival of Giulia and Fraxiom, such as Rey Fenix and The Motor City Machine Guns, these new signatures helped add the depth they needed to every department of the show.
Looking at the free agency market and the talent of NXT, there could be a little more stars heading towards the blue brand to expand its depth.
Here are seven potential new WWE signatures for SmackDown’s seven potential WWE signatures.
7. Trick Williams
Over the past year, there hasn’t been a big star in the NXT brand as much as Trick Williams.
Williams became the face of the brand, consistently gaining the biggest crowd response, creating an unparalleled connection with his fanbase.
Over the two reigns as NXT champion, Trick shows whether he is ready for the main roster stage and was called out at any time.
Deserving a call-up for the main roster, Williams may be the best fit with SmackDown, which can play numerous roles, either as an up-and-coming babyface or as a heel that could potentially reunite with Carmelo Hayes.
