WWE has plans for major shows in Mexico

WWE has developed key plans to expand its live event footprint in Mexico, with the aim of hosting multiple shows in the near future, all building for a massive feature event called “Supershow Mexico.” This was first reported by Wrestlevotes.

According to Wrestlevotes earlier this month, “WWE is said to be planning to hold multiple live events in Mexico in the near future. Although certain details are still wrapped, the report showed that Supershow Mexico’s “date and location are still fixed.”

Dave Meltzer added WWE’s interest in the area, saying in his latest Wrestling Observer newsletter, “WWE has plans for major events in Mexico. Multiple sources will confirm this and may be announced soon.”

This push to Mexico demonstrates WWE’s ongoing commitment to expanding its international presence and leveraging the globally passionate wrestling market. It is unclear which stars, including AAA talent, will be used in the show after WWE acquires the company.
