Daniel Garcia, just 26 years old, has already made a big name for himself in professional wrestling. The young Buffalo wrestler started out with a smaller local wrestling show and worked towards all elite wrestling, one of the biggest companies in the sport.
Garcia has big dreams for his future in wrestling. He talks about his five-year plans for his career on Isia Cassidi’s YouTube channel.
“I’m going to be 31 in five years. 31, 32 are still quite young in terms of wrestling,” explains Garcia. “Hopefully by then I will be the pay-per-view of the main event of the industry, big shows, top guys, the reason people love to come to shows and travel the world and travel the world.
Looking back at Garcia’s career so far, we can point to some matches he thinks he will remember for years to come.
“I feel historically, I think it’s my match against Utah [Wheeler]an hour-long match on the IWTV 100, I think it’s a historically important match for my career as well as for indie wrestling and AEW. I don’t know, my anarchy in the arena. ”
Based on his current trajectory, Garcia appears to be on track on his path to achieving his goal of becoming a consistent main event. Regarding what company the future company will become, he spoke openly about his decision to stay at AEW instead of jumping to WWE.
