WWE Smackdown Results (5/23/25): Live Match Updates and Key Moments

Behind the scenes, Damien’s priest attacked Drew McIntyre and slammed him into the gates of the truck. The two brawls to begin fighting again until they are temporarily separated.
WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has created her entrance, introduced by ring announcer Mark Nash. Wade Barrett joined Joe Tescitore in commentary as he repeated Stratton’s victory over Nia Jax again from last week.
Stratton said a year ago she stepped into bank money with all the hype, and now she is the champion. She reminded everyone that she defeated Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax. The music interrupted her, just as she began warning future MITB winners not to try and cash her out.
Alexa Bliss takes the microphone and says he doesn’t think she and Tiffany have officially met. She reminded Tiffany that she was a former women’s champion and former Ms. Money at the bank. Alexa said she’s been watching closely since Tiffany defeated Charlotte Flair. She reveals that she didn’t feel sorry for Charlotte, but she needs That briefcase. She told Tiffany not to take it personally – “It’s just business.” Alexa actually says she likes Nia, but she doesn’t know Tiffany, but that’s not a good thing. “You better pray that I won’t win with bank money. If you think your rise is fast, I’ll wait for your downfall.”
Charlotte Flair’s music was a hit and she came out with the microphone in hand. Charlotte said if there’s one thing people know about her, it’s her humility – “I might be the most humble 14-time champion ever.” She congratulates Tiffany on beating her at WrestleMania and says she’s doing great things, but that doesn’t last. Charlotte admitted that what she hadn’t done was to get money at the bank. She has pledged to regain her title, win and win cash. “When I want something, I don’t wait. I’ll take it.”
Tiffany fought back and called Charlotte a hypocrite. “Did you say cashing was easy in the briefcase?” She said that both Alexa and Charlotte were a little bit. Vintage For her preference. “You were the norm. I’m an upgrade.” Tiffany reminded them whether they liked it, “As long as I’m the champion, it’s always Tiffy’s time.”
As Tiffany led the aisle, Julia headed for the ring.
Women’s Money in Bank Qualifiers: Julia vs. Charlotte Flare vs. Jellina Vega
Wade Barrett pointed out that if Zelina Vega wins money in the bank, she can not only chase more money, but also stop someone else from using a briefcase to cash her out. Zelina Vega finds herself caught between Charlotte Flair and Julia, staring nervously. Before she can react, Charlotte kicks her out of the ring and charges with Julia. However, the US champions have not retreated. She drops Charlotte hard on the mat.
Julia then steps up, but just to be knocked by Flair, she reenters the ring and gets a quick hit with the slums on vacation in Vega. Julia tries to chase Vega with some tough shots, but Flair counters Julia into Vega’s mid-center.
Vega rolls out as Giulia gains control in a gust of strikes at Flair, but the Queen returns to a double knockdown. Vega goes back and slides, and Julia and Charlotte try out a double suppression, and Vega counters with a sharp DDT and almost gets a double pin.
She is dumped again, and Julia eats big boots from Charlotte and sends her to the floor. Flair continues, but both women are caught off guard when Vega fires herself on a dive and takes us to the photos.
During the break, Julia and Flair meet up temporarily to beat Vega, dragging her into the ring, nailing a double suppression to the US champion. The alliance quickly disappears as Flair winds up Julia for two counts. Charlotte then chases Vega on the corner, but Vega hits the Joebreaker and continues with her own rollup, nearly stealing the victory.
Julia finds her chance, nails Vega with a suppression on her back and goes to Pin. Charlotte Flair to split it. The tension boils into a match of pushing between Julia and Flair, ending with Julia dropping the Queen with a hard drop kick. Charlotte quickly recovers, driving Julia to the horns and almost gets a 3 count as the broadcast comes back from the break.
Julia returns to her feet and lands a series of strikes on the ropes that boost talent. However, Charlotte answers with a big kick that drops the US champion. Vega tries to capitalize, but Flare lifts her over her shoulder. It’s about Julia delivering a perfectly timed dropkick and knocking both women on the mat. Giulia fights for consecutive pin attempts on Vega and Flair, but only gets two counts each.
Julia remains offensive and sends Charlotte to the corner, but Flair flips her back and regains control. She climbs onto the top rope and launches herself with a crossbody, defeating both Julia and Vega. Once Flair recovers, Vega locks her in the headsizer and moves into a submission hold, locking it tightly. Julia breaks it, but Flare quickly drops her again. Charlotte then lifts his head up with both opponents and connects with both Julia and Vega’s Moono, returning to the top rope. She goes to the double cover, but that only gets two counts.
Julia sends Vega to the ropes and locks up Charlotte Flare with Saturn’s ring. Flair then makes a twist and manages to break the hold. Vega charges with a kick and then hits a 619 with a flare. To sway from Julia’s headbutt. The US champion returns her attention to the flare, but runs straight to the spear! It’s a flare cover, but it’s just nearby.
Charlotte throws Vega out of the ring and goes to Figure 8, but Julia escapes and almost steals the pin. Flare tries again, but this time Vega flies with Meteora straight into her face.
Vega follows up with Giulia’s code red, but Flair breaks the count just in time. The crowd shows their appreciation as the action continues to come. Julia is thrown out of the ring, and Vega dodges the spear to eat a big boot from Charlotte.
Flair is locked once more in Figure 8, but Giulia crashes with a double stomp to split it, so that Vega appears to be ready to tap. Vega rolls outwards and Julia is capitalized.

The video package will be aired DIY. Gargano and Ciampa talk about the tag department and call the Motor City Machine Gun. Ciampa says he’s ready to face Chris Sabin on Smackdown late tonight.
Zelina Vega walks behind the scenes as Chelsea Green stops her and says there’s a “Zero threat.” Green Mock Vega, calling her the champion, but still a loser, ask, “How are you going to do it?” Vega responds with a punch, but Albafir attacks her from behind. The sewing machine and B-fab arrive and reach Alba’s face, but before things escalate, Nick Aldis intervenes to split it. Aldis agrees to Michin and creates a tag match late tonight: Michin and B-Fab vs. Alba Fyre and Piper Niven.
Chris Sabin vs. Tonmaso Champa
Ciampa and Sabin lock up and Ciampa brings Sabin back to the corner, but he misses the chop. Sabin counters with arm resistance and follows side headlock with wrist lock. He drops Champa with a shoulder tackle, gets a quick cover and drags it onto another arm to transition to the armbar. Sabin applies Hammerlock, takes Ciampa to the mat, and keeps control over Ciampa struggling to turn around.
Ciampa fights back with his elbow and lands a kick on Sabin on the corner. He follows up with sharp chops, snap mares and head boots for the nearby fall. Ciampa stomps Sabin’s hand, but Sabin sends Ciampa to the floor with the resistance of his headsizer and another arm.
Sabin goes to Pescado, but Ciampa returns to the ring and Sabin lands on the apron. Ciampa throws Sabin a Gargano jacket to distract him and hits Willow’s Bell. He then throws Sabin into the ringside wall. Alex Shelley keeps her eye on things and keeps Ciampa from pulling anything else. Ciampa and Sabin return to the ring. Ciampa kicks Sabin a few times. Sabin fights back with a punch and rolls him up with a sunset flip for two counts. Ciampa stands up and slaps the elbow on his back.
Ciampa lands the chop and suffocates Sabin on the corner. He catapults Sabin into a bottom turnbuckle and runs down his knees and continues into autumn near his head. Ciampa applies reverse jaw lock. Sabin fights on his knees, but Champa kicks him in the head. Sabin hits the bulldog, with both men down. Ciampa charges him, but Sabin catches him in boots and continues with some clothesline loans. Sabin cleans his feet, but Ciampa blocks the kick. Sabin dodges the clothesline and hits a German suppression.
Sabin nails flying boots for autumn nearby. Ciampa rolls onto the floor and Sabin goes to the apron. He misses the kick and Champa is connected with a punch. On the apron, Ciampa lifts up the Sabin and replaces the chops until it hits an airlaid collision against the edge of the ring. Ciampa rolls him and approaches. Ciampa sets up for the fairy tale ending, but Sabin blocks it and slams the dragon screw. Sabin then nails the tornado DDT from the rope and makes another two counts.
Sabin climbs up to the top rope, but Johnny Gargano jumps onto the apron to distract him. Alex Shelley rose to the other side and retreated Gargano. Ciampa uses it to drive Shelley out of the apron.
Sabin almost steals victory with the roll-up. Ciampa rolls to the floor, while Sabin continues with a double jump crossbody on both Ciampa and Gargano. He sends Champa back and heads back to the top again, but Champa meets him with a chop.
Ciampa attempts a Superplex, but Sabin fights back with a punch and pushes him down. When Ciampa lands, he grabs his knee and the referee checks him. Sabin gets off the ropes, but Candice Lera suddenly appears and pulls him up his throat. Ciampa runs on the knees to charge and earns three counts.
Winner: Tommaso Ciampa
After the match, Byron Saxton interviews Axiom and Nathan Frazer. He asks if he runs at Smackdown and if they feel pressured.
Fraser says it’s a wild ride and tonight is the biggest night of their life. Axiom talks about his constant dream of becoming a WWE tag team champion, saying that street profits are just one step towards that goal. Fraser adds that they are not worried about DIY –“If we believe and stay on the same page, we will take on any team in the world.”
Back at ringside, the music of Damien’s priests is hit, but instead of the formal entrance, the priest and Drew McIntyre explode into another brawl, continuing what they began in the evening. The priest grabs the microphone and screams, “Tomorrow night I’m putting Drew in the hospital…but tonight I’m getting my body!” He drops the microphone and attacks again. When the fans chant, security quickly splits it, “Let them fight!”
Behind the scenes, Solosicore checks in at JC Mateo before a tag match. Jacob Fatu interrupts, saying he doesn’t know or like Mateo. His words fire jc, but Solo calms things down and tells them to save it for the ring. He left Jimmy Uso’s family. As Solo begins to say Jacob’s signature line, Fatu cuts off him and finishes himself before he leaves, leaving the solo glare.
Back at ringside, Chelsea Green leads the secret Hervice to the ring for the next match as the show heads for the commercial break.
We return from our break as Charlotte Flair is shown walking behind the scenes. Alexa Bliss appears and says, “It’s good to have friends, especially when there’s no one there to pick you up.” Charlotte stops and asks who Alexa is talking to. Alexa responds, “you’re not” And leave and add “Let’s meet with the bank money.”
Piper Niven and Alba Fyre (Chelsea Green) vs. Michin and B-Fab (with Zelina Vega)
Piper Niven and B-fab begin their match with lockup. Alba Fyre will immediately tag and lower the B-fab. Piper knocks on the sewing machine from the apron and then hits the senton on the back with the B-fab. Alba covers it, but it’s almost autumn only.
Alba maintains the pressure with a kick and sends the B-fab to the turnbuckle. She kicks more before tagging Piper. They double-team B-fab with more strikes before Alba tagged again and kneeled on the corner. Piper returns with his chin key. B-fab fights with punches, but Piper drops her along with the bossman’s slum for the nearby fall.
Piper lands more strikes and sets up for Piper driver, but B-fab escapes. Piper stops the tag attempt, but B-fab nails his knee to his head. Michin and Alba both tag in. Michin attacks Piper with his forearm and drops Alba in the laundry. She follows up with a dropkick and a head-sized takedown. Michin and B-fab hit the Piper-backed Asai DDT.
Chelsea Green jumps to the apron, but Jellina Vega pulls her down and kicks her. Piper chases Vega, only to dry out the clothesline from the apron and catch him by the B-fab. Returning to the ring, Alba winds up the sewing machine for the nearby fall, but the sewing machine returns with Eat’s defeat. B-fab continues with a neckbreaker for victory.
Winners: B-fab and Michin
Behind the scenes, Byron Saxton is benefiting from the streets. Byron says pressure on the champion. Dawkins admits it’s a big night for both teams and says it’s not just a friendly match.“We’ll check if the moment is too big.” Ford adds that everything about Fraxiom is fake and will continue to be a tag champion from tonight onwards.
Just then, Solosikoa, J.C. Mateo and Jacob Fatu step into the frame and stare at the street profits before heading into the ring.
Santos Escobar says Angel and Humbel are family. Like other families, there were discussions and differences of opinion, but there were real moments of connection. He knows what they can do when they unite. For Santos, this is all about business. He announces at Worlds Collide on June 7th that the home will be gathering from all over the world to represent the best it has to offer against the best. Santos says their opponents have proven themselves worldwide, but this is rarely a victory in front of their own people.
Santos turns his eyes to Hambert and tells him to trust him. Angel asks if he should chase Humbeld, but Santos stops him. “Let him go” He says. “He’ll understand.” Dr. Wagner Jr., Psycho Piero, Pagan The world clashes.
Behind the scenes, Jimmy Uso and Ray Mysterio talk. Jimmy says they were opponents last week, but tonight they’re a team.
Ray Phoenix and Jimmy Uso vs. Jacob Fatt and J.C. Mateo
Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu begin the match. Solo tries to talk to Jimmy, but Jimmy refuses to get involved. JC Mateo tages herself. Jimmy lands punches and a few chops, but Mateo fights back with a shoulder tackle and kick. Fatu tags himself, but Jimmy hits Dragon Whip and tags Rey Mysterio.
Jimmy puts Ray into Fatu with a kick, and Ray follows up with a head-sized takedown. Jimmy nailed Mateo with a super kick, and he and Ray hit a double super kick. Ray continues with Asami, who has a twist on the outside. Solosicore is trying to step in and slow everything down.
Jimmy Uso lands Jacob Fatu with some punches, but Fatu responds with a hard shot and a headbutt. Jimmy fights back with a kick, but JC Mateo blinds him with a clothesline on his apron. Fatu continues with a kick, and Mateo tags himself, drops a punch on Jimmy, then suffocates him on the ropes.
Mateo whips Jimmy hard into the turnbuckle. Fatu returns to the tag and lands his shoulders on the intestines and some heavy chops. Mateo returns and locks into the West Lock. Jimmy escapes with the elbows on his back, but Mateo shakes him with a punch and a short arm clothesline, hitting Moonzoo. FATU tagged it and performs a hip attack in the corner, followed by a headbutt and a backsent. He suffocates Jimmy on the ropes and hits another running hip strike. Mateo tages and kicks Jimmy back. He puts Jimmy in the turnbuckle and is looking for a German superplex, but Jimmy fights with the elbow in his back and hangs on the ropes to block it. Mateo falls to the mat and Jimmy bumps into a twisted Senton.
Both teams tag out – Fatu and Rey Mysterio Enter. Ray hits his forearm, avoids the whip and lands a thrust and dropkick. He adds a chop, kicks Mateo off the rope and hits Rana with Fatu. Ray continues with a swing-through kick and a poisonous kick. Ray fires a punch, but Fat surprises him with a super kick and a drop of pop-up samoa. Fatu goes to another corner hip attack, but Rey moves and Fatu crashes. Mateo tages Ray and lifts him up and deadlifts the German suppression, but Ray pops out and stands up. Jimmy tages and hits Mateo with a kick and crossbody, but Fatu breaks the cover with a backsenton.
Ray takes out Fatu with a springboard dropkick and suicide diving, but Fatu catches him and throws him at the announcement table. In the ring, Jimmy hits a superkick with both Mateo and Fatu, then lands a spear on Mateo. He climbs to the top, but Solosikore steps into the apron and distracts him. Fat wakes up like Jimmy hehes. Jimmy goes to the Frog Splash, but misses it. Mateo picks him up and hits. Island tour For three counts.

Behind the scenes in the locker room, Byron Saxton stands as Lanite enters.
Knight says, “It’s time to talk to YA.” He brings in that Solosikore is holding money in a bank match and says Solo has a front row seat. he Pull down the briefcase. Knight admits that he may oppose him, but that’s nothing new. “Odds have been against me ever since I stepped into this company.” He says when he returns to LA he is showing up and showing off. Knight talks about facing Aleister Black and Nakamura Niijima next. “I’m going to shed some light on people who live in creepy seasons all year round. One of you is going to catch three hard ways.” Knight declares that he is moving to bank money.
Behind the scenes, R-Truth walks to stop and praises John Cena’s mural on the wall.
Returning from the break, R-Truth walks to the ring. R-Truth enters the ring and asks Savannah, Georgia what he’s done. He talks about the main event on Saturday night and says he is not facing a childhood hero as he doesn’t recognize the man John Cena became.
The truth is that he doesn’t know where things got worse, but he realizes that the problem is power. Cena called him a friend and a brother, but the more power he gained, the farther he became. The text slowed down, replies stopped, and the phone ended. The truth was that he was bothering Cena, but others felt the same way. He compares Cina with Gollum Lord of the Ringssays he’s just as engrossed in the title as precious. The truth is that he doesn’t like what happens to Cena and doesn’t believe Cena is happy.
He calls Cena the best ever and says he’ll bring him back. If Cena wants to ruin wrestling, the truth needs to save it. R-Truth says he doesn’t want to fight John Cena, but if he has to, he will pay homage, loyalty and respect for him. He says that tomorrow night. If John Cena wins, we will riot. “what happened!?”
Next, we’ll look at a summary of the brawls from RAW involving CM Punk, Samizaine, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker and promote the tag team match in Saturday night’s main event.
Naomi says she is underrated, underrated and underrated. Old Naomi let people take advantage of her, but that’s not the case anymore. Jade Cargill says Naomi has taken everything from her. Nia Jacks says she cares about one thing: the title. Naomi and Jade get in her way and when someone ruins her chances, she ruins theirs. Jade makes it clear – he has nothing from her. Men’s money in bank qualifiers: Aleister Black vs. La Night vs. Nakamurajima
The three men look up at the briefcase before Nakamura hits the knight with his elbows and knees. Kuro hits Nakamura with his forearm, but Nakamura returns with his knees. Knight and Black cooperated to slam Nakamura with a combo and send him to the floor.
Knight and Black are trapped. Black gets a hammerlock, but Knight drops his knee. Black answer with kick. Knight attacks the neckbreaker and stomps on the black. Nakamura pulls the knight out of the ring. Kuro and Nakamura’s trade kick until Black jumps his knee. Knight returns and super plexes Black. Nakamura chases after the turnbuckle on his knees to the knight. Nakamura suffocates the knight with the rope, turns it into the same black with his horn, then returns to the suffocating knight. He throws the knight onto the floor and heads to the apron, but Black cuts him off. Nakamura slams his shoulder through the rope, then goes to the floor and kicks the knight.
Knight blocks blocks sent to the announcement table and instead hits Nakamura multiple times. Black runs, boots the knight, then brings Nakamura back into the ring. Black is followed by an Irish whip followed by his forearm and a nearby fall suppression. Black misses the splash and Nakamura kicks him in the back of his head and slaps him in the knee. Knight throws a punch at Nakamura, but is thrown outside. Nakamura covers the black for the nearby autumn and then locks it into the reverse chin lock.
Black fights with his elbow, hitting a series of kicks, followed by flying boots. He lands Kebrada in Nakamura for the nearest autumn. Knight returns and tries to suppress Black, but goes to his black knee. Knight avoids black chunks, and black dodges BFT. The Knight then pounds a black burning hammer, bringing him closer to the nearby autumn. Nakamura returns and throws the knight onto the floor and sends him onto the steel stairs. Forearms before Kuro and Nakamura Trade. Black lands the elbow on his back, but Nakamura fights back with a headbutt. Nakamura whips Kuro into the corner, but Kuro counters with his knees. Nakamura continues with a kick that knocks black into the corner.
Knight runs his knees from black to black and throws Nakamura onto the floor. Kuro recovers, jumps his knees and bumps into the knight, sending him out as well. Black climbs the turnbuckle and becomes a moonzoo, but you’ll miss it. Knight kicks him and throws him back into the ring. Black bouncing backwards and hits a flip-diving on the knight on the floor.
Black returns the Knight to the ring and goes to another moonsault, but lands on his feet and misses it. Knight immediately hits DDT and sets up for Yeaple’s Elbow. Before he finishes, Nakamura nails him with a kick and a cover.
Nakamura sets Kinshasa to black, but Black blocks it. Nakamura responds with a kick, sending black to the ring post, followed by an inverted explosive. But when he turns, Black slams him with a black chunk. Before Black can cover, Knight drives him out of the ring and pins Nakamura himself for victory.
Winner: LA Night
Behind the scenes, Miz and Carmelo Hayes talk. The Miz says they just saw Black lose, and Hayes has money for the bank qualifiers next week. Miz says Nick Ardis offered him the place and he believed he could win, but he gave it to Hayes instead – because it’s time for Hayes’ glow.
Miz says the briefcase is a gateway to the Superstar. He wouldn’t be where he is today without it, and that’s how much he believes in Hayes.
Returns with a video package highlighting the rivalry between Jey Uso and Logan Paul.
It has been announced that Zelina Vega will defend the US title against Chelsea Green in the main event on Saturday night.
Behind the scenes, Solosikoa walks with Jacob Fatu and J.C. Mateo. Solo says they followed the game plan perfectly. Nick Aldis approaches their victory and congratulates them. He then announces that Jacob Fatu will be competing in the final men’s money in the bank qualifying match next week. Solo tells Fatu they’re going to win –“It’s in the bag.” Fatu responds by saying he loves solo and will leave.
Bianca Belair says that change is the only thing you can expect in life. She acknowledges that the past six months have been the toughest and most painful of her life, as well as her first WrestleMania match. She says there were moments she wanted to give up, but she knew that wasn’t the example she wanted to set. Bianca says she was hit from all directions, but she is healing and will come back stronger than ever. She promises that her best is still ahead. Bianca Belair will be appearing on Smackdown next week.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Street profit (c) vs fraxiom
Dawkins and the axiom begin the match, and Dawkins immediately drops the axiom down to the mat. They are once again trapped in the strength test, and Dawkins rounds his arms and lowers the axiom once more. The axiom escapes at West Rock and tags Nathan Fraser. Fraser applies a side headlock and Dawkins down. He runs the ropes, but Dawkins catches him at the waist lock and continues with a shoulder tackle. Dawkins will cover it, but only in the fall nearby. Ford tagged and hits a dropkick for the fall nearby. Dawkins is tagged while Ford holds the armbar. Dawkins continues his kick, punch from the middle of his knee, locking it into the lock on the front.
Fraser fights back with his front key, but Dawkins pushes him into the corner. Dawkins tries to pull Fraser away from the ropes, but Fraser lands on his leg and kicks Dawkins. The axioms tagged, and he and Fraser hit a series of kicks with both Dawkins and Ford. Fraser attacks a suicide dive at Ford, and Ashiom continues with one at Dawkins. Fraser inverts both street interests, with the axioms slamming golden triangle moons outwards. Returning to the ring, the axiom throws his forearm and kicks him with Dawkins, but Dawkins retorts with a butterfly suppression that has been twisted for the reverse autumn. Dawkins kicks an axiom in the corner and tags it with Ford. Ford keeps in control and is almost fall. Dawkins locks the key on his rear chin and transitions to the sleeper. The axiom fights back with an elbow, but Dawkins defeats him again.
Axiom hits Jawbreaker, but Dawkins stops the tag and drives him to the turnbuckle. Ford tagged him and taps him on the shoulder in the corner. Dawkins continues with a twisted splash for the fall nearby. Axioms begin to gather with punches. Dawkins puts him on his knees and whips Irish, but the axiom knocks Ford from the apron and kicks Dawkins. The axiom jumps off the turnbuckle and hits the DDT, defeating both men. Frazer and Ford TagIn. Frazer runs his forearm and chops, followed by a dropkick and a sling blade. He lands a shooting star press and lands for the fall.
