Throughout John Cena’s 25 years in the wrestling business, he usually takes on several different roles that have received mixed reactions from his audience. It was his Thuganomics Gimmick Dr., becoming the “prototype” and WWE face, and whether he finally accepts a heel turn, Cena always seemed to gain both great support and overwhelming criticism from fans, regardless of circumstances. But even the 17-time world champion has one character and era that agrees with the weakest of his career. Speaking at the Philadelphia Fan Expo last weekend, Cena explained that she loved the second chance with her first push as a babyface after committing to a ruthless attack persona in 2002.

Cena’s ruthless offensive promotion with Kurt Angle is often remembered as one of the most iconic moments in WWE history, but the 48-year-old doesn’t look back on that stage of his career in favor of looking at his early failures years later, admitting that he found success as a doctor at Thuganomics.
