Omos declares he is “patiently waiting” for his call to return to company programming, and plans to “dominate” upon his return. The superstar has not competed in the WWE Ring since participating in Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale at Smackdown on WrestleMania 40 weekend in April 2024.
Following its appearance, Omos detoured towards Japan, where he worked with Jack Morris in particular to win the GHC Tag Team Championship at Noah of Pro Wrestling.
On WrestleMania 41 weekend in April 2025, OMOS spoke with WhatCulture’s Adam Wilbourn about his current situation. When asked about his absence from WWE, he said, “I was just waiting. I had fun in Japan and patiently waited.”
Omos expressed his strong desire to resume his WWE career. “I can’t wait to get back there. I can’t wait to get back into the ring.”
His mission when he returns is clear. “To be honest, man, I’m just ready to control. I’m just ready to control this ring again,” Omos said. “Nothing brings more joy than being in a wrestling ring, so whenever it happens, I’m ready to go back there.”
