The former star removes post defending Scorpio Sky after he talks about his career “Nosedive”

Former first AEW World Tag Team and two-time TNT champion Scorpio Sky face uncertainty about where they stand in the company they joined during the start of 2019. Skye, like the host, tried to analyse why things are stagnating in his career, along with what image fans may have of his long-term absence.

“Boys, boys, did my career certainly take my nose away?” Sora laughed nervously. “Everyone who follows me clearly knows that things have been a little different over the past few years.”

It is parallel to Ricky Starks (now “WWE NXT” Star Ricky Saints). He left the company earlier this year due to a similar problem that it is not used as often as it used to be. Later on the show, he said, “The reality is, I don’t know what it is. I don’t know if it’s bloody or not. I was healthy and healthy for a long time and wanted to compete.

In a now-deleted Twitter post, former star Alex Gracia, who worked for promotions between fall 2020 and spring 2021, answered Sky’s lingering skepticism about how the AEW contract works, particularly by mentioning what wrestlers believe they know when they ask for release. “And because the situation in which the contract is “hostage” is unethical, and it is used as leverage to prevent parties from seeking work elsewhere,” Gracia said. To continue, Gracia added, “To be clear – a release was asked and rejected multiple times.” The last time Sky was featured in AEW programming was on August 16, 2024, in a behind-the-scenes segment with a private party, and was now deprecated, episode of “Aew Rampage.”
