The cards are fully stacked as there are no doubles or nothing to bring the annual Memorial Day tradition to Arizona for the first time.
However, there are a few matches that seem very likely have not been made to make cuts or storyline shifts over the past few weeks.
This is a list of six AEW Double or Nothing 2025 matches that appear to be possible but never came to fruition.
6. MJF vs Bobby Rushley
Ultimately, it appears that MJF has joined Hurt Syndicate, but at least for the time being, the partnership appears to be destined to ultimately fail.
Bobby Lashley was the biggest hurdle to stop MJF from being welcomed by the Heart Syndicate, and their issues could have set up a future match.
However, for the time being, Lashley has agreed to put MJF in the group, so perhaps the match has been preserved for Texas AEW.
In Double-O Nothing, Lashley teams up with Shelton Benjamin to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship with Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara.
