Dustin Rhodes of Aew revealed that he has plans for his retirement and is sharing updates on his exit timeline.
Dustin highlights many opportunities he plans to retire with AEW.
The wrestling veteran spoke about the end of his career in a close-up of Renee Puckett, revealing that he has plans to part ways in his ring.
Noting that he agrees to be at this stage of his career, Dustin said:
“Whenever there is an end, it’s close, but not too close, so I hold on it.
“Is it really hard for us to retire in this business? We love it so much. As long as I’m still passionate, I’ll continue doing it.”

Believing AEW would give him a similar send-off to Sting’s AEW Revolution 2024 Retirement Match, Rhodes pointed out that he believes he will wrestling for another two years.
Rhodes said, acknowledging his previous uncertainty around how long he plans to work on, as he discusses the current expected timeline:
That, I thought, I’m thinking deeply, and there’s a list of three guys. I’m not saying them now, I want it to get closer to my chest, but I have a plan.
“Not immediately. Everyone, I’ve said that there’s been another year in the past.
“Seriously, it’s not that close, but it is. I’d say a few years, two and a half years, maybe.
“I think he gives me the opportunity to go out like Sting, which is the most respectable I ever could feel.
“There is all the tribalism out there, elsewhere and us, and what is good, what is bad, what is bad.
“We’re a startup company. This is our sixth year. Every year, we grow, do amazing things, make huge amounts of money, work all over the world. That’s where I want to be and end my career.”
