Brian Danielson may not have been played in professional wrestling yet.
The former AEW World Champion made a surprising appearance Action Dean!!! 2 On May 24th, I stepped into the ring and shared the moment with the legendary Lucador Blue Panther. The two were embraced in the center of the ring, and fans erupted at the unexpected sight of Danielson in front of the crowd as AEW’s talent hologram stood with them.
Danielson is not seen in the AEW ring, so the appearance is particularly noteworthy wresledream In October 2024, he was defeated by John Moxley in the main event of the world title. In the months before and after that match, Danielson repeatedly suggested that he was approaching the end of his career in the ring, leading many fans to assume that he had quietly left the aggressive competition.
Despite not wrestling at indie events, Danielson’s presence spoke to people. There was no physicality or running, but the Blue Panther moment spoke volume.
Behind the scenes, Danielson continues to operate in the AEW in a behind-the-scenes role and intervene as a disciplinary person when necessary. But whether he officially laces up the boots again is still in the air.
