Former AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May commented ahead of tonight’s double or eggplant event amid speculation about her future.
Mariah May has not been seen on AEW TV when she was defeated by the “timeless” Tonistorm at the Hollywood ending in March at the Revolutionary Pay-per-View event.
Following the show, it has been reported that Mariah’s contract with the company will expire in the coming months, and speculation has risen that she will be able to leave the company and head to WWE.
Recently, Mariah’s former tag team partner has officially signed rival Mina Shirakawa with AEW. Mina will challenge Mariah’s other ex-friend, Toni Storm, for the AEW Women’s World Championships in tonight’s Double or Nothing.
Before the match between Mariah’s two close friends, She took her to Twittercomment before the match in his absence on AEW TV.
