AEW has unveiled another exciting tournament announcement.
At tonight’s Double or Nothing 2025 pay-per-view, the Owen Heart Cup tournament wrapped up for both the men’s and women’s divisions. Mercedes Mohn emerged victorious on the women’s side against Hangman, while Osprey and Page battled it out on the men’s side.
Before the Osprey-Page match, which was a highlight of the show, AEW revealed that Fyter Fest will return as a four-hour TV special. This event is set to take place at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado, on June 4th.
The announcer also confirmed the first match for Fyter Fest—a thrilling four-way match in which Kenny Omega will defend his AEW International Championship.
AEW then shared the tournament brackets, which include a mini-tournament to determine three other participants for the match. Notable international stars like Máscara Dorada and Hechicero are among the competitors fighting for these spots.
Before this announcement, Kenny Omega was involved in a wild, chaotic tag team match at Double or Nothing, teaming with Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale, and The OPPS against Death Riders and The Young Bucks. After some brutal moments, Swerve Strickland introduced new thumbtack-covered sneakers, used them to hit Nick, and Omega finished the match by powerbombing an opponent through the explosion table outside the arena.
