John Moxley has absolutely no opponent for his world title and he is a cowboy.
A double or nothing event was held at the Desert Diamond Arina in Glendale, Arizona. Fans have seen a lot, including winning the new Owen Hart Tournament winner.
In the final of the 2025 Men’s Owen Heart Tournament, the main event was taken over by Double or Nothing. Before he came out, they played the cinematic packaging of Page. Also, Osprey received a very special entrance. He spoke about John Moxley taking the belt that held hostages during a dramatic narration.
The fans were red hot in his match and they chanted as the two competitors felt each other. They chanted “Let’s Go Ospreay” and “Cowboy Sh*t” on the top of their lungs.
They eventually escalated into some fast exchanges early and Ospreay missed the forbidden blade. The match continued as they tried to wear each other out without going to the finish. They had time as the clock was chopped past midnight on the East Coast.
The match continued, with Hangman’s page hitting Moonsaw outside of OSPREAY, popping a tired crowd. The two stars then returned to the ring, where they engaged in a chopping battle. Osprey then nailed the standing Spanish fly as the Hangman escaped his rope.
At one point, Hangman was ready to eat a backshot lariat on Osprey, but Osprey stopped him with a kick to the head. The Osprey then almost fell, but the match continued on Memorial Day on the East Coast over Memorial Day weekend. Of course, there was no time in the Arizona time zone.
Ospreay then pounded the angel wings for a very near autumn. The Hangman then missed out on the best moonsaw attempt ever. This was an excavation of Christopher Daniels. Ospreay then returned the fire and won another nearest fall. They then eventually headed for the apron where they fought there. Osprey then nailed the pedigree-like movement from the apron to the floor.
Ozprey then hit an Oz cutter, but it was almost fall. The match then continued, and Ospreyey disrupts Hangman’s attempt to hit a backshot lariat. Instead, he sent the Hangman into the flood with a hard kick. The action then returned to the ringside area. They pulled out the announcement table and slammed the dead eye on the collapsed table.
After a showdown where both of them undressed their elbow pads, Ospreay ate a Hangman Page backshot lariat for the very near fall. The Hangman was then kicked out after an Ospreay finisher. They ended up in a mat selling damage from this match.
Will Osprey first rose to his feet, and he nailed a V-trigger to the page, followed by One Wing Angel’s attempts, but Hangman hit the move and Ospreyey stepped onto the ropes. Fans chanted “Fight forever” in the arena as the commentators focused on the idea that no one left despite the late hours.
Eventually, Hangman Page nailed the finisher and got a pinfall. This was a huge shock for the fans. Page’s music was played to close out aew double or nothing. He now has the opportunity to play John Moxley.
So far, there have been three winners in the Men’s Owens Heart Foundation Tournament. Adam Cole won in 2022, Ricky Starks won in 2023, and Brian Danielson won in 2024 in his final run at the company. Now you need to see what’s down.
